Accounting Assistant – Part Time, $20 - $22

Now Hiring! An Accounting Assistant for a part-time role in the Seymour area. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience, sharpen their skills, and build their resume in the accounting field.

$20 - $22 per hour, temporary with the potential of hire. Position requires working on-site.

As an Accounting Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Controller and the office including:
  • Entering accounting data into the system.
  • Preparing and organizing documentation.
  • Answering phones when needed.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to learn new computer programs.
  • A knack for numbers and basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn!
  • General familiarity with office equipment and practices.
  • Basic administrative skills.
